It has been brought to my attention that certain people are questioning the authenticity of my badges.
Over the years there has been several changes made. The original badge, circa 1989, was just a picture of a Robin with the text "Robin" at the top and "Cues" at the bottom, this badge was also larger than the present one. Next came a picture of a Robin, perched on a snooker cue again with the text at the top and bottom and still the larger size.
In late 2000 the new "Robin Logo" was produced for me by a graphic designer. The first badges with the new Logo were still the larger diameter, with the text Robin Cues repeated around the outside.
The diameter was reduced to the present size in 2004. I have changed the text, style, colour and wording a few times and there are a few cues out there with a different colour chest on the bird.
The confusion has arisen from how the text has been presented. From 2004 "Handmade" was one word, these were made for a few years before I changed to the latest version where "Hand Made" is two separate words.
All new logo badges are printed and made by me, so over the years there have been many specials, being personalised with different colours and customers names etc. All have the Robin Logo in some form or other, often done as a watermark with text printed over it.
